Hästens MindSpa Firmware Upgrade Instructions (Included with the download)

Welcome! Please charge your Hästens MindSpa before beginning the upgrade process.

Step 1. Unzip the Hästens MindSpa Firmware Upgrade using any common file extraction program.

Step 2. Open the folder and double click on stupdaterapp.exe to start the software.

– The Firmware Download window will open.

– In the lower right hand corner, the message “Searching” will appear.

– After approximately 10 seconds, the message “Please connect Device” will appear.

Step 3. Connect the UBS cable included with your system to your computer.

– Leave your Hästens MindSpa turned off.

– The Hold button at the bottom of the unit must be in the Off position.

– On the top right hand side of your Hästens MindSpa is the Now Playing button. Press and hold the Now Playing button as you connect your Hästens MindSpa to the USB cable.

The message “Searching,” followed by “Initializing” will appear.

Do not release the Now Playing button during this process.

– The Initializing process requires approximately 40-to 60 seconds to complete.

– When the message “Ready” appears, you may release the Now Playing button.

*If “Ready” message does not appear, see Note below.

Step 4. Press Start in the firmware upgrade window. The firmware upgrade process will begin and generally requires less than two minutes to completion.

Do not disconnect your device during the process.

Step 5. When complete, you may disconnect your unit. It should immediately begin booting up. The firmware upgrade process is now complete. You may go into your Settings/About file to check that upgrade version 000.002.005 is present.

*Note: If you are experiencing difficulty with any of the above steps, first be certain to use the USB cable included with your system. Next, restart the software and try switching to a different USB port on your computer. If still experiencing difficulty, restart your computer to free up resources. Frequently, one of these three steps will resolve any issues.

After completion of the upgrade, if the unit does not start, use the end of a paperclip to press the Reset button just below the Power button.
